This regards the death of Dr. Donald Spahr. For those that knew him, it is unnecessary to say more. We knew him as a man of leadership, desire for good, a man of science as well as compassion for those that needed help. For those that did not know him, rest assured that his influence made life in Jay County better by his presence. He had the highest concern for good health care, the Jay County Hospital, his church, the schools and its people.
One could hardly ask for more service from one man and his wife. He has been out of the community for several years, but his influence still is felt in many ways.
