St. Henry puts end to Indians' season (10/13/2008)

The Fort Recovery Middle School eighth grade volleyball team closed its season Saturday with a 25-20, 25-9 loss to the St. Henry Redskins in the Midwest Athletic Conference tournament.
Amy Link had four kills, three points, one block and one assist in the defeat. Chelsea Pottkotter added eight points, including four aces, and Janelle Schiweterman put up four assists.
The Indians finished 11-5.
Snyder aces 15
Mike Snyder recorded his first career hole-in-one Sunday at Portland Golf Club.
Snyder's ace came with a 9-iron on the 144-yard, par-3, 15th hole at PGC. Nick Jones, Tim Knapke and Ron Reynolds witnessed the shot.

ST. HENRY, Ohio - Fort Recovery High School's junior varsity team lost Saturday, 38-16 to the St. Henry Redskins.
Chiefs go 3-0
The East Jay Middle School sixth grade volleyball team swept its three matches Saturday to win the East Jay Invitational.
The Chiefs defeated R.J. Baskett (Gas City), West Jay and Muncie Wilson.
Jessica Kerrigan led EJMS with 28 points, including 15 aces, and nine assists. Catherine Dunn added 10 digs and eight kills.
Michelle Wellman scored 25 points, and Breanne McIntire finished with 10 kills.[[In-content Ad]]
