Stein named All-Ohio (03/17/07)

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Holly Stein picked up another award this week as she was named All-Ohio for girls basketball in Division IV.
Stein, a Fort Recovery senior, picked up honorable mention.
The senior led the Indians, who finished 19-4 after an 11-0 start and were at one point ranked No. 1 in the state, with 13.6 points per game. She was a 47-percent shooter from the field, including 27 3-pointers, and hit 68-of-84 (81 percent) from the foul line.
She added 6.9 rebounds per contest, second on the team, and added 47 steals and 37 assists.
Stein was a first-team All-Midwest Athletic Conference and All-District 8 selection this year. She is also a track standout, having reached the state meet in the shot put as a sophomore and the shot put and discus last season.
The only other MAC player selected to the All-Ohio team in Division IV was conference player of the year Nicole Wright of New Knoxville.[[In-content Ad]]
