Holly Stein reached double figures for the first time in three games, but it was not enough to stop Manchester.
Stein, a 2007 Fort Recovery High School graduate, totaled 11 points Wednesday in the Defiance College women's basketball team's 67-61 loss to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference power. Manchester has won 23 consecutive HCAC games.
The freshman shot 4-of-3 from the field and buried half of her six 3-point attempts for 11 points. She also had six rebounds and three assists.
Stein had three points, three assists, one steal and one rebound Jan. 19 in an 84-64 loss to Anderson.

Contributed to a relay victory as the Huntington University women's track team competed Jan. 19 at Indiana Wesleyan.
Roughia teamed with Josann Schoeff, Michelle Kyler and Bethany McGraw for a time of 4-minutes, 22.93 seconds and a first-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay. The four Foresters won the race by more than 11 seconds.
Roughia was also the runner-up in the 800 run at 2:28.7, just eight hundredths of a second behind Indiana Wesleyan's Janelle Pierce.

Shared the team high in assists Wednesday to help the Goshen College men's basketball team to a 77-75 win over Marion College in overtime.
Bruggeman matched teammate Bryce Bow with four assists while adding five points. He also had three steals and two rebounds.
The freshman contributed three assists and two boards Jan. 19 in an 89-85 loss to Huntington.

Each turned in a top-10 finish for the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track team, which hosted the five-team Friday Night Invitational on Jan. 18.
