The sun doesn’t shine as brightly as it used to.
All I seem to think of is you.
The way you helped me with my first three years.
The way you helped dry all my tears.
Now I think back to when I was scared
And I remember how you cared.
I don’t know how I’ll get through this last year of school
But when I have trouble I’ll look up
Cuz I know you’ll be there to show me the way,
Saying, “Nicole, it’s O.K., youll get through this.”

Denyse Crabill meant so much to me.
This poem is dedicated to Denyse, to show what a great person she was and how much she will be missed.
