Students say, 'Fill out census'
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
I believe the census is very important; it would be a great fact to know the exact number of people inside the United States of America. Another great fact is that it will give $400,000,000,000 to hospitals, job training centers, schools like ours, senior citizens, bridges, tunnels, and emergency services. Thank you for being a part of the census and supporting it.

To the editor:
I'm glad we're doing the census. The over all experience is very interesting. I learned that it can affect how many people will be in the U.S. House of Representatives. I learned that it can also affect what the government money will go toward, such as hospitals, schools, and other public work projects. I look forward to know what the results of the census will be.

To the editor:
Why fill out the census form? It is so important that you fill in the form and mail it back. Census information affects the number of seats that your state occupies in the U.S. House of Representatives, and people from many walks of life use the census.

To the editor:
Why is the 2010 census important to our town? Because we cannot move forward until we send it back. Some of the things that it will help in our communities are the hospitals, jobs, schools, bridges, and emergency services. Those are just a few of the things it will help. Communities will receive up to more than 400 billion dollars in federal funds over the next few years. Why wouldn't you fill it out? It is only 10 questions, and the postage is already paid.

I'm glad we are doing the U.S. Census 2010. The over all experience is interesting. I have learned that the census can affect how many people will be in the U.S. House of Representatives. I have also learned that the government can't share any answers with anyone else. The penalty for unlawful disclosure is a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years. I have learned a lot about the census, but over all I think it's interesting.

To the editor:
The census is very important to our community. We do the census to make sure that each community gets its fair share of money. The census also gives us a more accurate guess at the number of people in the United States. If you don't fill out the census, our community could get insufficient amounts of money or if you fill it out wrong or more than once, our community could get more than our fair share of money. That is why it is important to fill out the census and fill it out correctly.
