Take heed of prophesies (10/30/04)

Prophecy is history written beforehand. A worldwide numbering system was predicted in the Bible in Revelation, chapter 13.
Also prophesied is a world dictator that would rule over a world government and cause all people in the earth to receive a number, without which they will able to buy or sell.
We are seeing this prophecy fulfilled before our eyes in a most astonishing way. Nearly every human being in the world now has been assigned a number. In America it is our Social Security number. In the past few years we have seen this number extended to newborns. A child without a Social Security number cannot be declared as a dependent on an income tax return.
We have seen the emergence of electronic money, shopping with credit cards and many people urging the abolishment of cash. All of these things could not possibly have been fulfilled until this present time.
Only after the invention of the computer could such a worldwide numbering system be administered. Now, today, our biggest concerns are over the usage of RFID (radio frequency ID’s), consisting of tiny computer chips hooked up to miniature antennas that can be slipped into products to silently transmit data.
The pieces are rapidly falling into place for what we know is the Mark of the Beast. A time is coming when every human being will have one card — or one chip — used to open the door of their car, get into their office, turn on their computer, pay their bills, receive medical care and buy their groceries. This one device will be mandatory and essential to performing the everyday functions of life.
It will depend on one thing — a computer chip the size of a grain of rice — that everybody will have to have in order to buy or sell (read Revelation 13).
I am aware of the fact that there are great differences of opinions about the Mark of the Beast. However, staying clear of controversies, my great concern is that the vast majority of the people of the world are right now in the very deadly process of conditioning for the mark.
If one is not aware of what is happening, how can we prepare?
The fact is, how many Christians in all churches have been taught that the Rapture of the church will take place first and not even be concerned about the Mark of the Beast? Are we open-minded enough to have Plan B in case we have been wrong?
If Jesus doesn’t come before the Mark of the Beast, how many will be caught off-guard and unprepared for the tremendous persecution of all Christians over the world?
If the Pre-Tribulation Rapture doesn’t occur before the mark is mandatory, then we have been taught wrong and deceived.
Whether or not you believe everything in this letter, you need to see “On the Brink of the Mark,” a 90-minute video showing at The Gospel Lighthouse Church, 122 E. Race St., Portland, this Sunday (Oct. 31) at 6:30 p.m.
It is a free showing followed by a short message, “Who Will Take the Mark of the Beast?”
When will you begin resisting the mark?
