Teen bash set for Friday (1/13/04)
Editor's Mailbag
By To the editor:-
On Friday, January 16th, J.C. Alive (a high school Bible Club), and some churches in the community are sponsoring a youth bash that will take place in the Jay County High School auditorium.
This event is for teens from grades 8-12. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the event will end around midnight.
I challenge you adults and youth workers to bring your kids and youth groups to this event. We will have a blast with bands, food, and all kinds of fun, but the main reason for this is to reveal God’s incredible love for them.
As a Christian teen going to school, some may feel alone — like they are the only one. This youth bash would be an awesome opportunity to let your teens meet other Christians their age, and build lasting relationships. We want these teens to experience God in his fullness!
Youth pastors and parents, be a leader. Encourage your teens to come. It will be a night they will never forget. This is a challenge to the Churches.
