Teeter key for Foresters

Collegiate Check-up

Nick Teeter is on a roll.
The 2010 South Adams High School graduate has scored in double figures in four straight games, including a 14-point effort in the NCAA Division III No. 19 Huntington University men’s basketball team’s 83-70 victory Saturday over Taylor.
Teeter had a perfect shooting day against Taylor, hitting all of his four field-goal attempts — all 3-pointers — and making both of his free-throw tries. He also had an assist.
The sophomore added 10 points Tuesday as the Foresters (13-8) fell 84-77 to Bethel. He added two assists, one rebound and one steal.
After scoring in double figures just three times in the first two months of the season, Teeter has tallied 10 points or more in five of six games in January. He is shooting 56 percent (24-of-43) in that stretch.
