Indiana Gov. Mike Pence has designated the fourth week in February as Tri Kappa Week.
Tri Kappa Sorority is a philanthropic organization of more than 11,000 women whose goal is to further education, culture and charity and is celebrating 113 years of service to the state of Indiana.
More than $1.5 million have been donated every year to projects and organizations locally and throughout the state; more than $5 million since 1913 given to scholarships. Tri Kappa has donated more than half a million dollars to Riley Hospital since it opened in 1922.
We celebrate the spirit of volunteerism and kindness and take this opportunity to say thank you to the community for its support.
