FORT RECOVERY - When two teams with winning percentages better than .700 take the floor, there is promise for an epic showdown.
Monday's was over in about four minutes.
With a 10-0 run to open the game the Fort Recovery High School girls basketball team took control on the way to blowing out the Arcanum Trojans.
The Indians (9-3) had a 14-point lead at the close of the first quarter, started the second with a 9-0 run and cleared their bench in the fourth. The loss dropped the Trojans to 10-4.
"The kids came out and played hard," said FRHS coach Doug Bihn of his group's ability to put the game out of reach in a hurry. "They were intense and aggressive tonight."
Joanna Snyder kicked off the scoring with a 3-pointer off a Chelsea Leuthold assist, and Kelsey Wuebker followed with back-to-back hoops on passes from Nicole Pottkotter. Kinsey Wenning got a put-back hoop, and a Leuthold free throw completed the 10-0 opening run.

"They played very unselfishly tonight. Everbody did," said Bihn, who got a team-high five assists from Pottkotter. "They made the extra pass when they needed it. That's fun to watch."
All 13 Indians got on the court in the first half, and seven finished the game with seven points or more. Anne Koesters was the lone Indian in double figures as she scored 12 points.
