Tribe falls to 'Riders (05/02/08)

ST. MARYS, Ohio - The Indians gave up just three hits. But they got only two themselves.
The Indians dropped their third straight game Thursday, falling 4-0 to the host St. Marys Memorial Roughriders.
The Tribe has been outscored 15-0 in its last three games, falling to 4-12 on the year.
Beth May took the loss, although just one of the four runs against her was earned. She allowed two hits while striking out four batters in five innings.
Bekah Brunswick gave up a hit and struck out one batter in an inning of scoreless relief.
Val Fortkamp and Kelly Sudhoff had the lone hits for Fort Recovery.
Junior varsity
Memorial scored 10 times in the final four innings to defeat the Indians 11-6.
Shelby Brunswick took the loss for Fort Recovery, which led 2-1 after three innings. She gave up six hits and 10 walks while striking out seven.
Carly Staugler went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs, and Kendra Brunswick had three hits and a run. Josie Guggenbiller drove in two runs, and Shelby Brunswick scored twice.[[In-content Ad]]
