ARCANUM, Ohio - The Trojans scored their first basket of the game at the 5:59 mark of the first quarter. That was all the Indians allowed them in the opening half.
Fort Recovery High School's girls basketball team limited the Arcanum Trojans to just one first-half field goal, outscoring them 18-0 in the second quarter for a 57-24 victory.
The Indians (9-4) scored 30 consecutive points, leading 31-0 at the half and adding a 3-pointer from Joanna Snyder to start the third quarter. Arcanum (7-9), which shot 1-of-25 (four percent) in the first half, went scoreless for more than 15 minutes and shot just 17 percent for the game overall.
All 13 players on the FRHS roster played at least four minutes, with 11 making it into the scoring column. Joanna Snyder led all scorers with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting. She also had a team-high eight rebounds, and added four assists and three blocks.
Anne Koesters finished with 10 points and six rebounds, Josie Guggenbiller grabbed six boards and Emily May finished with five assists.
Junior varsity

Kendra Brunswick missed just one shot, a 3-pointer, as she scored 15 points to lead the Indians, who were up by 24 at the half.
