Tribe spikers crush Bath (09/25/07)
FRHS volleyball
The setters turned in big efforts Monday night in leading Fort Recovery to a 25-20, 25-15, 25-19 victory over the Bath Wildcats. The win halted a four-match losing streak for the Indians, lifting their record to 5-8.
Nicole Pottkotter turned in team highs of nine points and seven digs to go along with 10 assists, and Kelsey Wuebker racked up 15 assists, six digs and three blocks.
Kinsey Wenning powered the offense with 17 kills while also adding a trio of blocks.
Anne Koesters added six kills, and Sarah Braun had four blocks.
Junior varsity
The Indians dropped the opening game before rallying to improve to 8-2 with a 24-26, 25-7, 25-15 win over Bath.
Alyssa Brackman pounded home 17 service points to go along with six digs, and Chelsey Leuthold had nine points, six digs and a block. Kendra Brunswick also had nine points, and Holly Brunswick totaled nine kills. Lorraine Shier followed with six kills, and Carly Staugler put up 14 assists.[[In-content Ad]]
