DELPHOS, Ohio - The Indians were left with a long bus ride home.
The host St. John's Blue Jays picked up their first conference win by a 59-48 score Friday over Fort Recovery.
The Tribe (9-5, 3-4 Midwest Athletic Conference) led by one after the opening quarter, and the game was tied at 25 at the half. St. John's picked up a two-point lead with eight minutes to play, then racked up 21 fourth-quarter points to pull away.
Cameron Hermiller paced the Blue Jays, who are now 4-11 overall and 1-5 in the MAC, with 20 points. Bryan Kazz followed with 16 points, and Tony Reindel scored nine.
Freshman Greg Kahlig paced Fort Recovery with a 19-point effort. He was followed by juniors Clint Tobe and Bobby Rammel with 10 and nine points respectively.
