Washington needs change

Letters to the Editor

To the editor:
Our current administration in Washington, D.C., has no shame.
From the very onset, there has been a steady stream of high-ranking officials up to their necks in scandal after scandal.
Where is the accountability?
I thought this was a country of laws.
These people should be in prison. Nobody is above the law.
Oops, I forgot, this is Obama’s administration, ain’t it?
They make their own laws and change them as they go along. Their motto is laws are made to be broken and we’re going to break as many as we want because we’ve got a president who will cover for us.
Meanwhile, with a deaf ear to the people and his foot on our Constitution, our president continues to dictate policy by ignoring Congress and issuing a steady flow of executive orders to his liking that’s suitable for his warped agendas, such as instructing the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to enforce crippling regulations on our natural resources to make our utilities skyrocket in cost (sound familiar?).

Why won’t he allow us to build the Keystone Pipeline and become independent?
That’s easy folks, he’s transforming America, just as he promised.
He wants a windmill in every yard, a solar panel on every roof and a batter-powered car in every garage.
Welcome to hope and change.
If you voted for it, you can have it. As for me, all I know is we’ve got us a $17 trillion debt, our economy sucks and there are more people signing up for welfare than there are for jobs.
If this is what hope and change is all about then sign me up for change and hope. Change everything in Washington and hope like hell it’s not too late.
Thank you and God Bless the old America. From a disgusted citizen and an optimistic Tea Party member. See you at the polls.
