Welcome Cole back to CFS
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Welcome back to Don Cole.
Hopefully Community and Family Services will be back on track, thanks to the hard work Mr. Cole does — not only for his job, but just in general for all of his volunteer work with all people around the county and community.

To the editor:
Another year has come and gone and Memorial Day is right around the corner. It’s time for us to remember our loved ones and friends that we have laid to rest, and to decorate their graves. I’m sure all of you that are taking the time to read this are saying, “Here she goes again.” You are right. I’m like a dog with a bone. I just can’t understand how people can bury their loved ones then just forget all about how the grave is kept or where the money comes from to maintain the cemetery itself.
All of us should share the responsibility of where our family members are laid to rest. This means volunteering on clean-up days or giving money to help maintain the grounds. With a little effort it wouldn’t be hard to find out where or who to give a donation to.
With all the rain we’ve had it’s been awful hard to keep the cemeteries mowed like they should be so they look neglected. Hopefully this is the case and by Memorial Day all of them will look like someone cares.
May family members are laid to rest in Randolph County in Reitenour Cemetery west of Deerfield on Ind. 28. If your family happens to be there, please send donations to: Mrs. Becky Edwards, 7660 North U.S. 27, Ridgeville, IN, 47380.
Please take this as a thank you for any and all the help that you are able to give, no matter where the cemetery is located. It will be greatly appreciated and you will feel better for what you have done.
Thank you,
Penny Imel
