As many of you fine citizens are aware, our home and business are scheduled for sheriff’s sale on Thursday, April 8.
We have received a few phone calls from family and friends wanting to know why the fire department and the sheriff’s department were discussing how to be prepared for this day.
This is what I gathered from these people who care about my family. The fire department and volunteers were told to stay back 50 to 100 feet until the sheriff’s department has an opportunity to arrive and check for “booby traps.”
Are you coming on April 8th on hearsay as you did on Jan. 20th? Or are you going to wait until you have just cause to check for booby traps? Smoke and flames would be just cause, I assume.
Give me a break.
