Woman thanks neighbors, community (5/5/05)

I don't think enough good is said about the very nice, and generous people we have in our community. I have on two occasions now been very impressed with my neighbors and also the Sugar Grove Church of the Nazarene.
When we had the ice storm, my amish neighbors on county road 400 North came and brought water to my cows and horses, and also for me to use. If it wasn't for them, I don't know what we would have done.
I recently had to have surgery and my church and my neighbors came to the rescue once again, and also my friends. The church brought in food every night for a week; the neighbors came over and did the chores for me; and my family and friends came and helped with everything else I needed. I also am a full-time college student and my teachers and professors kept in touch with me to see if I needed anything and also keep me up to date on class assignments.
One — Heather Isenhart — even brought my work out to me, so I wouldn't get too far behind. If that isn't a community that works together and helps others in times of need, a community that we can be proud of, I wouldn't know what is.
I just want to thank everyone for all their kind words and actions.
Sincerely,
Dianna Miller
