Breaking: Jay blasts Central

The Jay County High School girls soccer team closed the regular season with a blowout victory, topping the visiting Muncie Central Bearcats 7-0.
Gabbie Mann scored four times to lead the defending sectional champion Patriots (7-6), who won their final two games to finish above .500. They will open tournament play Tuesday against Delta, a team they topped 5-0 during the regular season.
Seniors Catherine Dunn (two goals) and Carmen Lopez (one) took care of the rest of the JCHS scoring against Muncie Central.
