ROCKFORD, Ohio — The Fort Recovery High School volleyball team opened tournament play Wednesday with a 25-20, 25-23, 16-25, 25-15 victory over the host Parkway Panthers.
The Indians, who had fallen to Parkway in five games during the regular season, opened strong in each of the first two games to take control of the match. The Panthers dominated game three and had a 4-0 lead in game four before Fort Recovery posted a 7-0 run and never looked back.
Morgan Lennartz recorded the match-ending kill, and Kendra Siefring led the Tribe with 18 kills.
