Wst Jay names honor roll students

Students were named to the honor roll at West Jay Middle School for the first nine-week grading period.
Making the all A honor roll in sixth grade were Chloe Campbell, Sophia Fugiett, Demi Grove and Grace Morgan.
Sixth graders making the A-B honor roll were Sofia Barcus, Abigail Benter, Lillian Clemmons, Haley Corwin, Joshua Crouch, Ashlyn Denney, Haley Gillette, Averi Hatzell, Victoria Jackson, Alexis Lee, Hannah Littler, Taylor Lowe, Chelsey Madara, Xavier Moon, Mackenzie Newsome, Hannah Outcalt, Mackenzie Ring, Kinsey Shannon, Hunter Shumaker and Jonathan Vaughn.
Making the all A honor roll in seventh grade were Ethan Andreshak, Alexander Hammers, Halle Hill, Allison Jobe, Joseph Littler and Megan Templeton.
Seventh graders making the A-B honor roll were Devan Bennett, Dylan Bland, Sarah Bowdell, Dylan Bowler, Jason Crouse, Trinity Current, Alex Davis, MaKenna Davis, Hallie Fields, Jonathon Green, Leah Hamilton, Lexus Harding, Paige Howell, Andrew Jessup and Mikale Knight.
Also Briana Lee, Rachel Louck, Lindsey McIntire, Madison Murphy, Peyton Nichols, McKall Norris, Jessie Nuckols, Renee Omstead, Kevin Reef, Calli Stigleman, Makayla Templeton, Trevon Vore, Brinnin Wasson, Cole Wendel, Thomas Yates and Chelsey Zimmerman.
Making the all A honor roll in eighth grade were Karlie Bullard, Daniel Fugiett, Wyatt Geesaman, Matthew Paquette and Elizabeth Rose.

LifeStream Services Inc. has lowered its fees to ride the New InterUrban van in Jay County. Rates are $1 per trip for those 18 and younger and 60 and older (the old rate was $3) and $2 per trip for those 19 to 59 (the old rate was $4.50). Monthly passes are no longer available.
A LifeStream Senior Café is open each Tuesday and Thursday at Jay Community Center, 115 E. Water St. in Portland. Meals for seniors 60 and older are available on a donation basis. For more information or to make a reservation, call (800) 589-1121.

At Fort museum
The program “Found – The Plans of Fort Recovery,” will be presented at 3 p.m. on Nov. 16 at Fort Recovery State Museum. David Heckaman, Dr. David Cox, David Simmons and Chris Thompson will be guest speakers.
