Elderly, Fort menus
A LifeStream Senior Café is open each Tuesday and Thursday at Jay Community Center, 115 E. Water St. in Portland. Meals for seniors 60 and older are available on a donation basis. For more information or to make a reservation, call (800) 589-1121.
Tuesday — Sloppy Joe on hamburger bun, vegetable soup, chuckwagon corn, red delicious apple.
Thursday — Italian meatball hoagie with marinara sauce on hoagie bun, Italian blend vegetables, green peas.
The following is the menu for the week of Nov. 3 at Fort Recovery Middle School.
Monday — Mini corn dogs, green beans, tropical fruit.
Tuesday — Tenderloin sandwich, Parisian carrots, fruit cocktail, snack mix.
Wednesday — Egg and cheese muffin, hash brown, orange juice, fruit snack.
Thursday — Walking taco, refried beans, lettuce/cheese, sorbet.
Friday — Chicken quesadilla, broccoli, grapes.

Thursday — Grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato and onion, salad, chips, apple slices. Ala carte: meatballs.
Friday — Biscuits and gravy, sausage links, tater tots, orange juice. Ala carte: barbecue quesadilla.
