Jay County didn’t play very well in its first appearance of the season at Portland Golf Club.
The Patriot girls golf team turned things around Tuesday, breaking 200 for the second time of the season in a victory over Fort Recovery and Winchester.
Three different players shot a 49 to lead the Patriots to a score of 197. It is the second of three straight home matches at PGC for the Patriots, who are gearing up to host their conference tournament on Saturday.
