Joseph Shull

Joseph “Joe” Freeman Shull, 72, a resident of the Jay County Retirement Center in Portland, died Wednesday at Woodcrest Nursing Home in Decatur.
Born in Noblesville to Joseph and Mary Ann (Irland) Shull, he had worked for the City of Dunkirk, Geneva Manufacturing and Jay County Retirement Center.
Surviving are a son, Joe Shull (wife: Amanda), Ravens Wood, W.Va.; a sister, Mary Elliott, rural Portland; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. at Evangelical United Methodist Church, 930 W. Main St. in Portland, with services to follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Steve Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
