The Jay County volleyball team was riding high after its five-game win Tuesday over Fort Recovery.
Now, the Patriots can hold their heads higher.
Jay County upset Class 3A No. 7 Wapahani in five games Thursday, going the distance for the second time in three days.
The Patriots (9-1) won the first game 25-23 before losing the next two, 26-24 and 25-18. With its back against the wall, Jay County rallied to take game four 26-24 before battling to a 15-13 win in the decisive fifth game to take the match.
