Breaking: Willis wins ACAC tourney
For the second straight season, Sydney Willis is the top golfer in the Allen County Athletic Conference.
Willis, a South Adams junior, fired a 77 on Saturday to earn match medalist in the ACAC conference tournament at Portland Golf Club.
The Leo Lions won the tournament with a 344, and also took the round-robin title for the top regular season conference record.
Jay County, led by senior Maddison Baughn’s 98, placed third in its first season in the ACAC with a team score of 414.
