This Summons is to the Defendants above named and to any other persons who may be concerned.
You are notified that you have been sued in the Jay County Superior Court, Jay County, Indiana, in the case caption above, by the person named as Plaintiff. This summons by publications is specifically directed to the Defendants named above and all others who may claim any lien on or interest in the real estate described below.
The named Plaintiff is represented by William W. Hinkle, 121 W. High Street, Portland, Indiana 47371.
The nature of this suit against you is to quiet title in Plaintiff to the real estate described below against the named Defendants and the world and the real estate is located in Jay County, Indiana:
1. The Plaintiff is the true and rightful owner of the following described real estate located in Jay County, Indiana:
A part of the west half of the southeast quarter of section 20, township 22 north, range 14 east, more described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south line of the southeast quarter of section 20, township 22 north, range 14 east, said point being south 89 degrees 58 minutes 09 seconds east (assumed bearing) 330.00 feet from an existing iron pipe marking the southwest corner of the said quarter section; thence north 00 degrees 04 minutes 51 seconds west on a line parallel with the west line of the said quarter section a distance of 6'0.00 feet (40 rods) to a 5/8 inch rebar (set); thence south 89 degrees 58 minutes 09 seconds east on a line parallel with the center line of the said quarter section a distance of 330.00 feet to a 5/8 inch rebar (set); thence south 00 degrees 04 minutes 51 seconds east on a line parallel with the west line of the said quarter section a distance of 660.0 feet (40 rods) to a railroad spike (set) on the south line of the said quarter section; thence north 89 degrees 58 minutes 09 seconds west along the south line of the said quarter section a distance of 330.00 feet to the point of beginning. Being a part of the west half of the southeast quarter of section 20, township 22 north, range 14 east. Containing 5.00 acres more or less.
An answer or other response in writing to the complaint must be filed either by you or your attorney within thirty (30) days after the date the last notice is published and if you fail to do so, judgement by default may be rendered against you for the relief demanded by Plaintiff.
If you have a claim for relief against the Plaintiff arising from the same transaction or occurrence, you must assert it in your written answer or response.
