Last week vs. Fort Recovery: Jay County forced two turnovers but was unable to turn them into points in a 28-0 loss to state-line rival Fort Recovery. The Indians held the Patriots to 72 yards of total offense, forcing Jay County to punt on four of its seven possessions before the game was halted because of lightning with 8:11 left to play in the fourth quarter.
Season leaders: Passing — Nick Clemens - 3-of-7 passing for seven yards and an interception. Rushing — Drew Huffman - 48 carries for 279 yards and a touchdown. Receiving — Cameron Kunkle and Andrew McShane - one reception for three yards. Defense —?Jon Blankenship - 21 tackles, Aaron Neal - two interceptions.

Last week at Leo: Leo’s Logan Leiter ran for 75 yards and two touchdowns and added 74 receiving yards in a 24-0 victory over Adams Central. The Flying Jets were held to fewer than 80 yards in a game that was called 10 seconds into the third quarter.
Season leaders: Passing — Andrew Hammond - 7-of-26 for 71 yards and four interceptions. Rushing — Carter Sharp - 40 carries for 189 yards and one touchdown. Receiving — Koty Frauhiger - four recptions for 38 yards. Defense — Frauhiger - 23 tackles, Tanner Butler - three tackles for loss.
Game notes: This is the first meeting between new conference rivals, as the Patriots open their first season in the Allen County Athletic Conference ... Adams Central has not gone winless through the first four games of the season in more than two decades ... After rushing for more than 300 yards in week two against Blackford, Jay County was held to less than 100 yards of total offense for the first time this season ...
