Jay County’s boys tennis team has been having a tough time on the court lately.
The Bluffton Tigers handed the Patriots their fifth consecutive loss Thursday, beating Jay County 5-0.
Zach Pryor and Alex Krieg lost 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively, with Alex Clark falling 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
The JCHS No. 1 doubles team of Adam Jutte and Jay Houck lost 6-1, 6-3, and the Patriots’ tandem of Sok Vormohr and Garrett Rodgers at No. 2 doubles were beaten 6-0, 6-1.
