Group’s work is appreciated
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
I just wanted to give thanks to an organization that I rarely see get any recognition — The Jayland Trotting Association.
I was able to attend another harness race at the fairgrounds Monday that, by the way, was free of charge.
Now I know that it costs someone money to pay all the outstanding people that worked the track, watered the track and the person that done all of the announcing of the races and anyone else that I may have missed. But you made it possible to keep it free so that people could come out and support our drivers.
And I really appreciate that.
I always have a good time when I come to the race track and I applaud you for that.
The Jayland Trotting Association is a class act and deserve to be recognized for all that they do.
A big thank you goes out to all the sponsors that help with all the races. You folks also made this day possible.
I look forward to attending a few races next year.
Again thank you to all that are involved with the harness racing program.
