'Blast' party is Saturday

Noble Congregational Christian Church will have its ‘Blast from the Past,’ beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Archery tag will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m., horse drawn wagon rides will be given at 5 p.m., supper will begin at 6 p.m., devotions and music around the campfire with Bob Bothast will be at 7 p.m.
Everyone is welcome. Bring lawn chairs. The church is located at 1964 N. 800 East. For more information, call Rita Jellison at (260) 729-2776.

Fun night
A Friday Fun Night will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Evangelical Methodist Church, 930 W. Main St. in Portland. There will be food and activities, bring coins to ‘sink the ship.’

Guest speaker
Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene, 401 E. Boundary St., will have guest speaker Rob North for a Faith Promise Service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. North is senior administrator of Nazarene Missions International.
A carry-in dinner will follow. There will be no Sunday evening services.

Free meal
Bread of Life Community Family Meal will be served Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 204 E. Arch St., in Portland. Everyone is welcome to share a meal and conversation. The meal this week will be prepared and served by Asbury United Methodist Church.
