John Hough

John Jasper Hough, 76, Bryant, died Tuesday at his home.
Born in Adams County, he married Judith Guntle on Oct. 28, 1960, in Bryant. He worked at Dunbar Furniture and Steelcase Furniture and was a lifelong Adams County farmer.
Surviving are two daughters, Hulda Harter (husband: Roger), Montpelier, and Regina Huey (husband: Keith), Geneva; two sons, Randy Hough (wife: Rebecca), Geneva, and Earl Hough (wife: Lesley), Berne; one sister, Caroline Jones, Bryant; two brothers, Lonnie Hough (wife: Carolyn), Indianapolis, and Tom Hough (wife: Marilyn), Geneva; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva, with Rev. A. Jim Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow in Daugherty Cemetery in Bryant.
Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
