Michele Harp

Michele Harp, 71, Payne, Ohio, died Sunday at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Born in Portland to Earl Norris and Wanda (Whipple) Hilgeman, she is survived by her husband Allen Harp whom she married on June 19, 1981.
Preceding her in death on Dec. 12, 1976, was her first husband Richard Bash whom she married in April of 1961.
She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, where she taught Divine Mercy School.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her mother, Wanda Hilgeman, Payne; three daughters, Kimberly Bash, Paulding, Ohio, and Tracey Shafer, Kansas City, and Rebecca Bash, Fort Wayne; two sisters, Kay Head, Payne, and Debra HIlgeman, Gulfport, Miss.; a brother, Kenneth Hilgeman, Fort Wayne; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Dooley Funeral Home in Payne, with the rosary recited at 7:30 p.m., and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
