Madonna W. Bisel, 89, 3698 S. U.S. 27, Portland, died Wednesday at Persimmon Ridge Healthcare in Portland.
Born in Mercer County, Ohio, to Floyd and Grace (Ulmer) VanTrees, she was a graduate of Fort Recovery High School.
Preceding her in death in 1969 was her husband Thurl Bisel whom she married in 1965.
Retired from Jay Garment in Portland, she attended Portland First Church of the Nazarene.
She was a member of Jay County Hospital Auxiliary, Portland Moose Lodge and Eastern Star.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Sandra Wood, Florida; two stepgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 10 a.m. Monday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland, followed by services at 11 a.m. with Dave McClellan officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Fort Recovery.
