Services for Elbert D. “Dennis” Rodgers, 63, Portland, were held today at Blountsville Cemetery in Blountsville. He died Aug. 19 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to Edward D. and Juanita V. (King) Rodgers, he was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War.
He had worked at Overmeyer Mold in Winchester and was a member of the American Legion.
MJS Mortuaries Farmland Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
