Kevin Rabe, 67, Salinas, Calif., died Sept. 11.
He was a former Fort Recovery resident.
He was the son of Merle and Ann Rabe and was preceded in death in 2002 by his wife Christie (Rose) Rabe whom he married on Oct. 29, 1989.
He graduated from Fort Recovery High School and studied marine biology at the University of Washington.
A member of the Monterey (Calif.) Bay Rose Society, he was a volunteer at Monterey Aquarium, Meals on Wheels in Spokane, Wash., Maritime Museum and Monterey County Symphony.
Surviving are a brother, Blaine Rabe, Jacksonville, Fla.; and a sister, Jill Rabe, Fort Recovery.
Services will be held at a later date.
