The Jay County High School girls swim team won its first sectional title Saturday as it posted 395 points.
The Patriots racked up eight event wins, including two individual victories apiece for cousins Anne Vormohr and Sophie Bader. The juniors teamed with Katy Smeltzer and Alex Bader for a pair of relay wins.
Alex Bader added a victory in the 200-yard freestyle, and posted a state-qualifying time in the 100 breaststroke.
South Adams was the runner up with 324 points while earning state berths in three events.
