To the editor:
For the second straight year, the Jayland Angel Tree program was a huge success.
This program was started to assist low-income families with food for the holidays and gifts for needy children.
This year, 307 children received gifts and 128 families received either a food basket or a food card.
We would like to thank all who donated to this program. Without your donations this program could not assist many low-income families who would have struggled for holiday meals and gifts for their children.
This year’s program was a success, and we look forward to next year.
