Pitts column was just race-baiting

Letters to the Editor

To the editor:
Extreme left wing ideologue, race baiter, gun control fanatic, FOX news hater and perennial purveyor of misinformation and outright lies Leonard Pitts has again penned an opinion piece that should be an embarrassment to every newspaper that carries him.
In this case he used the truth to create an elaborate lie, namely that FOX, Republican presidential candidates and conservatives won’t admit that the racist murders in South Carolina were in fact racist. He quotes comments from immediately after the attack or taken out of context to prove his point.
He pilloried FOX’s Elizabeth Hasselbeck for saying it was an “attack on faith” which it also was.  Yet for days the same FOX and Friends morning show has been talking about the “racist attack.”
Rick Perry said “I don’t know what was on the mind” of the killer at a time when his views had yet to be made public.

Pitts castigates Glenn Beck for saying “I don’t know why the shooter shot people.” Pitts conveniently ignores the fact that one hour later on the same show, after the shooters name was released, Beck condemned the “racist attack.”
The truth is that all of the people accused of denying the attack was racist have condemned it and called it racist.
“All lives matter.”
Many respond with that because they are sick of race baiters like Pitts and Al Sharpton or rioters for whom the only black lives that seem to matter are those that are killed by white men or law enforcement.
