Staff needs to watch FOX

Letters to the Editor

To the editor:
On July 5, Hillary Clinton did a CNN interview in which she told several blatant lies.
She said that her e-mails had never been subpoenaed. That was a lie. She claimed she broke no rules. That was a lie. And she said she broke no law. Apparently two years late on the deadline and 30,000 e-mails short doesn’t count. And there were even more.
CNN didn’t seem to notice. Two articles they posted on the interview didn’t mention the lies. Either the interviewer was ignorant of the topic she was asking questions on or she and CNN were so used to lies and sleaze from the Clintons that “at this point, what does it matter?”
This paper either didn’t know about it or didn’t think it was news for the Democrat frontrunner for president in 2016 to brazenly lie to the press.
On July 8, it was learned that the IRS illegally turned over 1.25 million pages of documents on 113,000 taxpayers to the FBI and DOJ, and that Lois Lerner had meetings where they tried to find reasons to prosecute conservative groups. And again this paper either didn’t know about it or didn’t think it was news.
Perhaps the editorial board needs to watch one of the hard news shows on FOX just to find out what the news actually is.
