Oxley questions system of justice
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
Proverbs 16 and 17
Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent. The Lord detests them both.
Yes, I was involved in the action that night, but not at fault as Jay County Prosecutor Wes Schemenaur has stated in the Friday issue of The Commercial Review.
It was never a speed contest. I was simply trying to pass. There is a law that states no one is to interfere with a person trying to pass.
I had evidence to prove the truth, but was denied the use of the accident reconstructionist as my witness. So, the jury did not hear all the facts.
You tell me, where is the justice? Not in Jay County.
I know the truth, and I have told the truth.
