Send Pence your thoughts
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
I am so proud of Jack Ronald for the March 4 editorial concerning our governor, Mike Pence.
Gov. Pence has gone against the wishes of the voters of Indiana.
We, the voting public, elected Glenda Ritz to the position of Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction. I do not think he has the right to remove her from this office.
I would like for everyone who feels this is wrong to write, wire, phone or email our esteemed governor and let him know how we feel about this matter.
If this doesn’t help, we may have to have a march to Indianapolis. Evidently, Mr. Pence has forgotten that he has to run for re-election.

Editor’s note: Pending legislation would remove Ritz as chair of the state board of education. She will continue to serve as superintendent of public instruction.
