ISIS follows fundamentalist Islam

To the editor:
I would like to respond to Jack Ronald’s editorial and Kathryne Rubright’s column that ran in Saturday’s edition of The Commercial Review.
Even though ISIS is a mixture of ethnic and religious beliefs, it is an extremist operation of the religion of Islam.
Islam: a religion that came out of the revelations and teaching of the Prophet Muhammad. Islam is the Arabic term for “submission.”
Muslim: is the name given to one who adheres to the religion of Islam. It means “one who submits” to Islam and “Allah” (the Arabic name for “God”) as revealed by Muhammad (“the one who is praised”).
Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam, was in a cave near Mecca (Saudi Arabia) when he said the angel Gabriel spoke to him. He claims the Quran was Allah’s words given to him over a period of about 22 years.
Quran (also spelled Koran) is Arabic for “the recitation”) containing Allah’s revelations, including:
“Jihad,” “Holy War,” an early sacred duty as a condition of faith causing a believer of Islam to murder anyone who would not embrace Islam’s one true faith and prophets … which produces the … Islamic State (ISIS).
Muhammad died in A.D. 632. By A.D. 660 the Islamic world had splintered into several groups. The new group called El-Khariz wanted to practice terrorism just like Muhammad did. Several passages in the Quran seemed to justify the killings. Surah 2:204 2:207, 8:60, 9:5, 8:39 and 9:29.
Surah 9:29 reads “Fight against those who (1) Believe not in Allah, (2) nor in the last day, (3) nor forbit that which has been forbidden by Allah and His messenger (Muhammad) (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the people of the Scriptures, until they pay the Jizyah (tax) with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”
Question: Do all Muslims believe in “Jihad?”
A) “Secular” Muslims reject the idea of the Islam State to kill everyone who does not believe their way. These Muslims are peaceful, good neighbors yet they do not represent true Islam.
B) “Traditional” Muslims who know and study Islam yet consider Jihad a spiritual battle and distances themselves from ISIS.
C) “Fundamentalist” Muslims are those practicing Islam as Muhammad did. Though we call them “Radicals,” they are really practicing true Islam that Muhammad personally led and taught in over 25 battles against nations either Jew or Christian (the infidels).
Other interesting notes:
Mecca: Muhammad’s birthplace in Saudi Arabia, and where he first received his messages.
Imam: an Islamic leader, usually in charge of a mosque.
Infidel: one who rejects the teachings of Islam.
Shiite: Islamic sect.
Sunni: Islamic sect.
Taliban: Islamic fundamentalist group in Afghanistan.
Sharia: Islamic law.
Muslim Brotherhood: Islamic organization active in several nations.
Hezbollah: Islamic sect (Lebanese).
Hamas: Palestines’ Islamic movement.
Finally, why is America a target of ISIS?
America represents “the people of the Book,” meaning Jews and Christians, and the United States supports Israel (all infidels who reject Islam).
“Allah” is supposed to be Islam’s only God and America has “many Gods,” alcohol, homosexuality, pornography, evil fashion, evil music and the Trinitarian concept to name just a few. Muslims who believe in Islam 100 percent desire to do all the Quran demands. The best way to overtake an “evil empire” (USA) is to infiltrate all of its communities. Then it is just a matter of time until the “radicals” kill everyone who doesn’t bow to Allah.
Brother Ronald: To say “ISIS is not Islam and Islam is not ISIS” is false.
Miss Rubright: To say our governor is scoring political gain by looking tough amid a climate of change is childish and you should know it.
Thank you Gov. Pence for being careful and caring for Indiana. Mr. Pence said he would stop the flow of these Syrians until “the government’s gaps” could be fixed. “Trust … yet confirm.”
This whole dangerous crisis, caused by Islam’s fundamentalists Muslims, should cause every Christian to pray to Almighty Jehovah in the Name of Jesus, for an old-fashioned revival in our land. Jesus is the remedy and cure for all humanity (John 3:16).
