Martin, 23, Anderson, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor — Sentenced to 60 days in Jay County Jail, given two days credit for one day served, with the remaining 58 days to be served on electronically monitored home detention, assessed court costs of $183.50 and ordered to pay an alcohol and drug countermeasures fee of $200.
Gisele A. Bennett, 60, Dunkirk, theft, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 16 days suspended, given 16 days credit for eight days served, assessed court costs of $183, ordered to make restitution to Ruther Canter and placed on formal probation for one year.
Meagan C. Lott, Peru, violated the conditions of her probation after failing a drug test. The probation was imposed Aug. 1, 2013, after she pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person with a passenger less than 18 years of age, both Class D felonies. She will serve an additional 18 months of the original three-year sentence on electronically monitored home detention and was given 12 days credit.
Keith E. Ward, 25, driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to 30 days in Jay County Jail, given two days credit for one day served, with the remaining 28 days to be served on electronically monitored home detention and assessed court costs of $183.50. The court recommended to the BMV a 90-day license suspension.
Seth Weagant, 23, Portland, disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor — Sentenced to 180 days in Jay County Jail with all but two days suspended, given two days credit for one day served, assessed court costs of $183 and placed on formal probation for six months. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of domestic battery was dismissed.
