Redkey to hold safety meeting

To the editor:
Redkey Police Department will be conducting an informal public safety meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the log cabin located at Redkey Park.
This meeting is for all Redkey residents and business owners. Please feel free to come and express your problems and concerns. As you know, this year we have acquired an entirely new police force. Come welcome them and meet them and get acquainted.
The police department will also talk about its plans and goals for the community. The officers will also talk about the problems they are faced with on a daily basis. They will cover topics such as neighborhood crime prevention as well as the drug problem facing all communities both large and small.
We all want a cleaner and safer environment for our families. The more we as residents can help our police department, the better we can make our town.
Please plan on attending and learning what we as the citizens of Redkey can do to help our town.
