Elderly, Fort menus
The LifeStream Senior Café is open at 11:30 a.m. each Tuesday and Thursday at Jay Community Center, 115 E. Water St. in Portland. Meals for seniors 60 and older are available on a donation basis. For more information or to make a reservation, call (800) 589-1121.
The following is the menu for Fort Recovery Elementary/Middle School for the week of Oct. 19. All meals are served with milk.
Monday — Barbecue rib sandwich, black beans corn salsa/chips, peaches.
Tuesday — Pancake wraps, hash browns, orange juice, fruit snacks.
Wednesday — Popcorn chicken, butter bread, broccoli, apple slices.
Thursday — Soft taco with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and salsa, blue raspberry/lemon slushie.
Friday — Hamburger sandwich, tomato, green beans, tropical fruit.
The following is the menu for Fort Recovery High School for the week of Oct. 19. All meals are served with milk.
Monday — Chicken noodle soup, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, crackers, carrots/celery, fresh oranges. Ala carte: southwest eggroll.
Tuesday — Chicken tenders, salad, baby lima beans, strawberry cup, goldfish crackers. Ala carte: barbecue quesadilla.
Wednesday — Hot ham and cheese, curly fries, pineapple, applesauce bar. Ala carte: baked potato.
Thursday — Taco salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onion and salsa, apple slices. Ala carte: corn dog.
Friday — Biscuits and gravy, sausage patty, tater tots, orange juice. Ala carte: pizza.
