In politics, people lose
Letters to the Editor
To the editor:
This is a brief and very loose response to Dustin Bantz’s recent “Our legislature is ignoring DNR” letter to the editor from April 11.
What is presented appears to be “Big Government” at it again. Here is proof of government overstepping its reaches and over regulating. Wait a moment, this is the GOP I’m referring to. Proof that even the GOP has its moments of “Big Government,” government overstepping and over regulating.
“Big Government,” government overstepping and over regulation is a part of the norm, no matter the party, when taken in perspective. Each party overdoes when they receive the power to rule.
Free enterprise? Each side chooses their winner.
Don’t just take a side’s word for it.
Who wins under the GOP? The corporation and the ultra rich.
Who wins under the Dems? That is a bit murkier and more difficult to determine, but, again, the corporations and the ultra rich.
Despite their pledges to the worker, both parties favor their donors, who are the rich. The GOP taxes or charges fees to the worker that are out of line and oppressive, but so do the Dems.
One just wishes to hide it a bit “better” than the other party.
Who loses? We all do.
