Elderly, Fort menus
The LifeStream Senior Café is open at 11:30 a.m. each Tuesday and Thursday at Jay Community Center, 115 E. Water St. in Portland. Meals for seniors 60 and older are available on a donation basis. For more information or to make a reservation, call (800) 589-1121.
Tuesday — Turkey and cheese on multi-grain bread with lettuce and tomato, cole slaw, Rice Krispie treat.
Thursday — Sliced ham and cheese on whole wheat bread with lettuce and tomato, carrot raisin salad, peaches.
The following is the menu for Fort Recovery Elementary/Middle School for the week of April 25. All meals are served with milk.
Monday — Macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, carrots, pears.
Tuesday — Sausage patty sandwich, baked beans, applesauce, fruit snack.
Wednesday — Breaded chicken patty, corn, peaches.
Thursday — Chicken fajita, cheese, lettuce, green peppers, apple slices.
Friday — Pepperoni pizza, romaine lettuce/Italian dressing, mandarin oranges.
The following is the menu for Fort Recovery High School for the week of April 25. All meals are served with milk.
Monday — Pizza, salad, cottage cheese, peach cobbler. Ala carte: mini corn dogs.
Tuesday — Hot ham and cheese, green beans, chips, pineapple. Ala carte: barbecue quesadilla.
Wednesday — Popcorn chicken, fries, apple juice, fruit snacks. Ala carte: burrito.
Thursday — Chicken patty sandwich, black bean salsa/chips, peaches, raisins. Ala carte: hot dog.
Friday — Grilled cheese, tomato soup/crackers, celery, banana. Ala carte: pretzel sticks.
