The Jay County High School girls track team rolled to victory in the battle of the Patriots, defeating visiting Heritage 80-42 Tuesday. The boys team fell 76-47.
Erika Kunkler stole the show late, rallying in the final 20 meters to bring her team back for a win in the meet-ending 4x400-meter relay. Kendra Muhlenkamp, Megan Wellman and Kunkler also teamed to sweep the 800 run and 1,600 run, and Gabby Kunkler completed perfection in the distance events as she took the top spot in the 3,200 run.
